Editing the Image of the College Magazine Front Cover

For the image of the front cover, I wanted it to be black and white with a with a white background instead of a blue or dark colour background, this is because it would easily work with the rest of the magazines front cover that I have planned. With neutral colours being the main focus of the image it will stand out from the rest of the subjects on the front cover of the College Magazine. In order to meet the requirements I made myself, I had to go onto Photoshop and edit the picture by going to the toolbar > Image > Adjusments > Black and White.

This is what came up and I pushed the tabs to the white side of the spectrum for the blue colours, this made the background colour white. All of the tharker colours turned black or dark grey and the lighter colours turned white or light grey.
