Front Cover Screenshots

I started off with a plain white background on an A4 sized layer.

Then I added a black square about 2mm in from the 2mm bleed on the outside.

Next I layered the front cover image ontop and made sure I used the lock tool so the image wasn't stretched at all and now the black square is a border.

Every magazine has a barcode so I added one in the bottom left corner to make the magazine look as it would need a barcode to be sold in stores.

Here I added a circle shape layer which I coloured black as a little symbol to go behind the Masthead title of my magazine.

Next I used the text tool in Britannic Bold font with a red colouring and put the title of my magazine "The Names".

Lastly I put the main article in front of the front cover image in the same font and colour as my masthead.
